Configuration details

Multi-device Message Synchronization lets users send and receive messages across multiple devices under the same account. In IM services, a single account can be logged in on multiple devices.

When disabled, RC won’t sync messages between devices. Messages received on one device won’t be available on others.

Enable this service if you need:

  • Sync messages across multiple devices for a single account (regardless of client type). For example, a user might have multiple mobile devices like two Android and one iOS device.

Note: RC supports multi-end simultaneous online by default. A single account can be online on one mobile, web, desktop, and mini-program client. To allow multiple mobile or mini-program clients online simultaneously, submit a ticket to enable multi-mobile-device login and multi-miniprogram login services.

  • Sync message history when switching devices (regardless of previous login status). For example, a user is offline from an Android device and online via a web client on another device.

  • Sync message history after app reinstall on the same device.
