Once you’ve registered on the RC Console, your first app is automatically created, generating an App Key for the Development environment using the China (Beijing) Data Center. You can find related info under Console > Configuration > Basic information > App key.
Prerequisites
Get familiar with these basics:
If your app serves international users, choose a global data center that fits your needs. RC offers data centers in Southeast Asia (Singapore), North America (Oregon), and more to support global expansion.
Currently, only the Singapore data center can be used to create apps automatically. For other global data centers, contact us by creating a ticket. We’ll evaluate your needs and recommend the best solution.
Instructions
The image below shows the App Key page and supported operations.
Configuration details
-
App Key: Your app’s unique ID for the Production or Development environment. Use it when initializing the client SDK or requesting RC server APIs.
Note: Each app has separate App Keys for Development and Production environments—don’t mix them up.
-
App Secret: Used to generate data signatures for server API requests. Refreshing the App Secret invalidates existing user authorization Tokens. Learn more at App Secret Refresh.
-
Test user limit: 100
-
Set Token validity period: Defaults to permanent. Details at Token Validity.
-
HTTPS settings: HTTPS Configuration.
Notes
To use the Production App Key, apply for and pass the go-live process in the RC developer console. Learn more at Go online Process.
